Terms of Service

"The Cove" is the community that "Lucid Creations Media" run and moderate. The Cove spans across many different services and platforms. The Cove also has a distinct subsidiary community known as "Dreamy Drove".

"We" "Us" "Our" exclusively refers to Lucid Creations Media and The Cove / Dreamy Drove.

"You" Your" "User" and "Member" exclusively refers to the individual members within the community spaces across any of the services and platforms we use.

By joining any of the community we run and moderate you agree to the Community Terms of Service listed within this webpage.

The Community Terms of Service is subject to change without notice. It is your responsibility to periodically check the terms for changes.

The Community Terms of Service does not override any ToS provided by any of the services and platforms that we use. Our ToS is meant to be a supplement to those ToS. Users are to abide by the ToS of the respective platform and service they are using at all times.

Access

It is a privilege, not a right, to be allowed into and to have access to our community and your access to our community may be terminated or suspended immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach community standards, the community's terms, or the terms of Lucid Creations Media. The community staff team is the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards and reserve the right to suspend, limit or terminate access to the community including any permissions and privileges allotted within them. Breach of community standards include, but are not necessarily limited to, failure to follow any rules, policies, guidelines, or standards listed on any of the pages within this website.

18+/NSFW Communities / Discord Channels

All members in our 18+ communities are expected to be 18 or older and all users should be aware that we use a merit based verification 60% of the time. All members of Dreamy Drove are to be of 18+ and all users should have had their ID checked before being permitted within any part of Dreamy Drove. By giving yourself the 18+ role to access age restricted channels in the Discord Server you are taking the steps and initiative to agree that you are 18+ and the act of doing so is an act of merit-based verification.

Hypnosis

Hypnosis is performed inside Dreamy Drove, sometimes without warning. There are strict (but reasonable) rules and guidelines about performing hypnosis in the community and interrupting session. Please read the hypnosis rules before conducting any trances within the community. By joining Dreamy Drove you also agree to follow the Code of Ethics and consent guidelines for Dreamy Drove.

Dreamy Drove Staff does not guarantee that any hypnotists inside Dreamy Drove are licensed or trained to perform hypnosis for mental, emotional, or therapeutic help. Because of this they cannot treat any mental illnesses, trauma, or help with any habits that you are trying to break. We recommend you proceed with caution when seeking this type of hypnosis within the group. We acknowledge and hereby disclose to you that, in most cases, people inside this group are only performing hypnosis for fun or entertainment purposes.

Rule Infractions and Disciplinary Actions

We evaluate each incident on a case by case basis. If a member is found to have breached any rules, terms, or standard of the community then appropriate action will be taken based on the severity. Potential actions staff may take for such breaches may include a verbal warning from a moderator, a warning from our bot, temporary or permanent restrictions from using certain features inside the groups (embedded links, sending media like; videos, music, and pictures, sending stickers & gifs, etc), and a temporary or permanent ban. [Dreamy Drove] Every time a staff member has to talk to a member about rules violation the incident is logged. All incidents that result in a user being kicked from an instance will result in consideration for suspension or banishment from the community.

An automatic escalation of consequences will likely be considered and used if you receive 3 warns in a short time frame regardless of the severity of a single offense or accumulative offense(s). Note that warns are forgiven after continued good behavior. The timeline for the removal of any warn is based on the rule, severity of offense against the rule, and if any warns preceding it.

Staff will not discuss disciplinary actions in public under any circumstances and will not discuss it in private with any person(s) who aren't directly involved. Disciplinary actions can be appealed by contacting any staff member. If any discussions regarding a disciplinary action were to be continued after staff requested the discussions to cease then disciplinary action will be taken against violators of the request; this does include asking for details or trying to appeal disciplinary actions on someone else's behalf. Staff are only permitted to publicly disclose the following information about disciplinary actions: the rule, policy, guideline, or community standard the person broke, if the person received any prior disciplinary actions, if the person was in any probationary period prior to actions taken, if the person was banned or kicked before, and how long a ban set for. Any other information will not be disclosed.

Appeals

Users may submit an appeal to any disciplinary action on our Discord Server using the ticket system or by contacting a member of the community staff team directly. Appeals are not guaranteed to be approved and any decisions on appeals are final. Submitted multiple appeals for the same thing will result in a ban for abuse of the appeals system.
