Suggestive, horror, and gore flags needs to be set appropriately.
Failure to follow this will result in suspension.
Size (Compressed and uncompressed)
A rule of thumb would be if the staff team needs to force your avatar on it isn't optimized enough for large instances
If avatar’s download size exceeds 100MB, it is recommended to not use it.
If an avatar’s uncompressed size exceeds 250MB, it is recommended to not use it.
If someone asks about a feature that you have on an avatar above these limits, please move away from the rest of the group before switching avatars.
Please try not to exceed 150MB in texture size
Chibi, loli, and otherwise child-like avatars
To put it simply they will only be allowed in SFW settings.
This means no lewd will be permitted with these avatars
This will be strictly regulated.
Global Audio Sources will not be permitted
If you are aware that your avatar, asset, or feature has global sounds DO NOT USE IT
If you are aware that an update broke the sounds on your avatar, asset, or feature to make them global sounds then disable them or do not use them.
We will be moderating intentional use of global sounds and users will be kicked if they purposefully use assets, avatars, and feature that use global sounds.
This includes worlds that have items and features that produce global sounds. We will try to avoid using worlds that have global sounds, but sometimes things can can slip by or it can be unavoidable.
Weaponry on Avatars
Real life weapons that can be equip, held, grabbed, or placed into the world is strictly prohibited.
This includes but is not limited to:
Knives, axes, machetes, and swords
Firearms of any type
Explosive grenades
Rocket/Missile Launchers
Flamethrowers
Decorative items will be permitted
Decoration means the item cannot be equip, held, grabbed, or placed into the world. It is a permanent fixture to the avatar.
If someone asks for the item to be turned off please honor that request and turn it off or change into a different avatar. We will kick users for not following our consent guidelines.
Prop/toy and meme weapons will be permitted such as:
Squeaky hammers
Frying pan
Bubble gun
Props made to look like inflatable or plush toys that don't function or fire
Fantasy weapons will be permitted such as:
Magic staves
We recommend using the Avatar Culling feature at our events. This can help with system resources and cut down on visual stimuli if you happen to be sensitive to such stimuli. This can also help if you are trying to have a trance in a public space.
Culling by Distance is recommended to be between 10-20m
1-2 if you are doing a public trance and can be easily distracted by other people
Culling by Count is recommended to be at a level your computer can handle.
Make sure the check the "Always show friends" and "Show avatar override" settings. Leaving these enabled will make your friends and anyone who's avatar you forced on to always be visible, not count to your "maximum shown avatar" settings, and ignore your culling radius
We recommend using Earmuff Mode if you are easily overstimulated by noise. This has little affect on performance and is mostly a comfort and accessibility feature.
We recommend enabling the visible aide and adjusting the radius as needed.
If you are turning this on to eliminate audio stimuli then also enable "include avatar audio"
If you are really sensitive you can use the "forward cone" setting to cut out noise from people and things that aren't in your vision.
